What is tenant involvement?
Tenant involvement is not just about joining formal groups and sitting in meetings, but rather about involving tenants and residents in shaping the way our services are planned and delivered in the future. As you are the ones receiving these services who better to ask about how we can improve?
It is important that everyone has the opportunity to make their voice heard, regardless of their own personal circumstances. In response to this, we have developed a variety of ways for our tenants and residents to become involved, ranging from joining formal groups to participating in our ‘stay at home’ options. We are sure that there is something to suit everyone and many people have said that they have made new friends and have had a lot of fun!
Riverside ECHG offers support to those wanting to become involved in a number of ways:
Making travel arrangements where necessary
Paying for the cost of childcare and other caring responsibilities
Providing good Information
Providing advice and assistance
