Riverside - All aboard the skills bus

Langley tenants and residents accessed training and jobs information on their doorstep thanks to Riverside who arranged for Burnley Community Safety Partnership’s Space Bus to make a stop at its office in Lingmell Close on Monday.

The bus featured computers with internet access to allow residents to search for jobs and apply online while Riverside staff were on hand to offer advice on jobs and volunteering and provide information on free courses for people who are unemployed or at risk of redundancy.

The bus also came complete with X Box and Playstation consoles and there was face painting to entertain the children.
